EDUCATIONAL ROADSHOWS
& SCHOOL INCURSIONS

LET OUR LITTLE CREATURES MEET YOURS!

Animal Ark's Interactive Roadshows for schools and colleges offer unique hands-on science sessions with tame and friendly native reptiles, amphibians and creepy crawlies, in the familiar surroundings of the classroom.

Supporting a variety of curriculum frameworks and educational outcomes, each session is tailored to the target age group and can be adapted to any natural world science and S&E (society & environment) topic, for example; life & living, natural & social systems, the environment, habitats and classification. For some educational support material have a look at our Wildlife Facts and Figures page

Each and every child is offered the opportunity to get closer to nature, looking at, learning about, touching and holding visitors such as Monty the Python, Adelaide the blue-tongue skink, Phoebe the frog and Carla the creepy crawly.

Your class will also get the chance to touch and examine an amazing range of natural artefacts from sea shells to seed pods and dinosaur pooh, fossilised (thankfully), real skulls and bones. You may like to read our frequently asked questions or contact us if you have other questions.

David Manning is an engaging and enthusiastic professional naturalist, and author of animal care books. He has been captivating, exciting and above all educating thousands of school children, and teachers, in the UK for 20 years.
