To assist those working in the field with fauna relocation, this wildlife safety training was originally developed with Roy Hill in line with DBCA Parks & Wildlife Service requirements for fauna handlers.
This course provides theory and some practical exercises in the capture, restraint, handling and transportation of invertebrates, frogs, lizards, birds and small mammals.
No DBCA Parks & Wildlife Service licence is directly related to this wildlife safety course. Venomous Snake Catch and Relocation course is a separate day’s training – See our Snake Handling Training course.
Fauna and Snake courses taken over 2 days are often part of company OHS requirements to show competency when applying for licences related to a project. Do check with DBCA for details.
